Avigail?

Thank you Catherine for so much care in your work. I fell in love
last week with this page and came back today with some questions.
Naturally a dark blonde,in the mid thirties I turned light brown,
always with reddish overtones.
I have been using different hennas in the past, most Irish setter
from Avigail. Now my hair is past shoulder lenght,(had to cut it
because of bleaching) most white around face and temples, rest has
strands of reddish brown, some darker, some whites, lower half is
blonde from coloring more than a year ago. Have some "colour
strands" by feria, so 4-5in from scalp are virgin and waiting for
something good to happen!
I am planning to send you my tuft of hair too.
I used Avigail in the past (bought aroung 1998) and have
strawberry blonde, champagne and topaz,one kg of each!, but not
stored in the freezer.
Last summer the strand I tried came very orangy on my whites.
This time I would add coffee,lemon, clover, tea, tea tree oil to
darken & relase more stain.
Does Avigail have chemicals added to it?
Is using all this additives the correct way to get back my Irish
setter?
My hair used to look like Nancys and people would always compliment
me...
