I : usually by it by the cube from LUSH (amazing handmade natural : products) but I found it too time consuming. I just bought Colora : henna cream. I was wondering if this product is actually 100% : natural colour as it says. The Ingredients are as follows: : : Water, Natural Henna Extract, Alcohol, Cocoamphopropionate, : Polysorbate 20, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxyethylcellulose. : : May also contain: Solvent Black 5, Disperse Blue 1, Basic Violet 14, : Basic Yellow 15. : : Please let me know if this is safe and non-hair damaging henna. : : thanks : Nicole Oh Nicole, all I can say is YUCK YUCK YUCK! my henna experiences in the last year have led me to go even farther in my quest for natural body care products. I now make about 90% of the stuff I use on my hair face and "bod" and to tell you the truth, I wouldn't touch anything with propylene glycol (a petrochemical derivative also used to make antifreeze) in it with a ten foot pole. The dyes and "lakes" used to make colours are also extremely hazardous. Beyond that, I just can't see how anything claiming to contain henna extract can actually dye your hair? Once henna has released its dye there is only a certain window of opportunity in which it is viable, so how they can halt that process I don't know. Please don't use it! 100% natural henna is a bit of work alright but its so much better for you.
