henna & bright temporary dyes, also Q? about henna gloss technique

Does anyone here have experience dying with bright temporary dyes
like Special Effects over henna'd hair? I'm considering a henna
gloss & need to know how that might affect my usual habit of going
fuschia during the grey winter months :)

Also, on light brown hair, is Fia's henna gloss technique likely to
color enough to leave a line of demarcation when the hair grows out?
I'm OK with some very subtle warm tones, but I don't want to
be "stuck" coloring, and I don't want to look like I'm growing out
dye.
