Indigo washing out?

Hey there everyone. I've been hennaing my hair for about a year now,
and I was thinking of taking the plunge and trying indigo, but I've
read a few messages here suggesting that indigo washes out fairly
quickly. Can anyone relate their experiences with indigo and how
often they need to redye with it?
