It seems like a : good product. I've tried Light Mountain red but it isn't nearly as good as CCJ's. Also, when I mixed Light Mountain with hot water and put it on my skin for the patch test, it didn't stain. So I mixed it with lemon juice to put it on my hair. The way gray roots turn out with henna, the first mm or two (a week after hennaing) is white. Then the next cm is bright red. Then the next cm, which has been hennaed twice, is dark red. It progresses to really dark red, but since it's transparent, it sparkles. The white part isn't noticeable on top of my head (until there's enough of it to harbor scalp itch fungus, at which point I rehenna) but on the bottom of my lower lip, it is, so I touch it up after a couple of weeks.
