But has been mangling and mutilating her hair for I would say over 40 years, with Dark brown -Black ppd dyes. She has finally recently allowed me to henna her hair on a visit here. I figured if she liked it, henna is straightforward enough for her to continue using it, I mixed it up let it sit under a cap a few hours. It was gorgeous! I have never seen her hair that healthy! She is probably about 50-70% grey, but you only see that in the roots as her dye grows out. She is dyeing her hair or years, so the strands were dark, it is always redder in the roots. Now that I hennaed it, that was finally more blended. But I could not believe how the henna took beautifully to the dyed brown! She went home and after a couple of weeks the grey in the hairline faded quickly! And her friends told her it was too red. So being a true brunette, she wants to see it somewhat browner, can't get used to RED, but also cannot go back to dark dyed brown! That's too harsh for her now . I do not want to add cool or ash tones. Just brown it down, but still to have red in the sun, and auburn inside, like her virgen hair had. She is not an ash! So I am thinking indigo is too ash with the red. She would want it consistently the color she is going for. She is very frustrated and wants a touch-up, but she lives far. I am trying to tell her what to use. She is not a detailed mixes type! She is a hairdresser, that you mix and squeeze bottle it! No frills mix and go would be best. Does anyone have anything good to say about Light Mountain all natural (but they premix it for you) hennas?? Thanx-ahead-of-time! Love & Light, Tee
