help for my hair

I used henna for 10 years then I decided I would try a chemical dye. It just isn't the
same as henna. I would like to go back to using henna but I am scared my hair will be
fried.A friend told me about a natural hair dye called herbatint that is supposedly safe
for chemically treated hair. I could not find any objective info on this product. Is it
henna? does it have metalics that will react will chemical dye?
any info would be great thanks.
