hello there, Daaltje, i'm a bit confused about your post. let me do
some outing here: yep, i was the one who wrote that post... but ages
ago. it was probably my first (and also very desperate) post to
hennapage ever, at a time, when, looking back, i had not known very
much about henna at all.

i've not been using this picramat stuff now for 3 years, because i
really found a better alternative. as for light mountain: i did try it
out, it was a mess, not very efficient, and caused some serious
plumbing problems. don't know what's in there, but i'll never put it
on my head again. and the result was lousy (blue-greyish shade over
the grey hairs) and faded quickly.

now, the good news is: you don't need all that nasty stuff anyway!
i have 20% grey hairs and manage to cover it perfectly now to a deep
red-brown, with just body art quality henna plus indigo. i do it in a
1-step now, which makes it even easier. take a look around in the
mixes section here. you'll find lots of ladies successfully covering
grey. and lots of tricks, like adding amla/mycrobalan, cloves or
indigo. i'm so glad i learned so much here. to avoid the boozo clown
orange look, especially on grey hair, the most important thing is
getting really good and pure henna, like catherine and others here sell.

what kind of colour were you looking for? a deep henna red or natural
dark brown?

if you like the deep red which good body art quality henna can give
you, you should be able to cover the green with another application of
that good stuff easily. however, do a strand test first, but i think
you should be ok to go over the light mountain stuff with pure good
henna - i didn't have any problems back then.

good luck and all the best
elektra
