Hi Hadassah,

I apparently have the same hair type as you, except mine is dark
brown. Mine is pretty thin on top as well. Here is my story thus
far- I am trying to grow my hair out (chin length, like yours). As
my hair is growing out, the bangs are growing out too, and it seems
to be getting stronger with some increased length. I have heard that
if your hair is longer the root is "forced" to get stronger to hold
the hair. Might be a myth, but it seems to be helping. I have also
heard that one length hair is the strongest and healthiest.

Also, I KNOW that the henna is making my hair stronger. Perhaps my
hair's good current condition is due more to using quality henna than
anything else. I ordered it from Catherine on the board here, and
the color is beautiful, especially on my grays. If you are nervous
test your hair first using the method she has kindly provided.

I will most likely never get a luscious, thick head of hair in this
lifetime, but what I do have is looking so much better than it has in
a long time. I can't wait to see how my hair does as I keep re
applying the good henna to my hair!

Good luck in your henna adventures...
