I had that problem too at first. So I switched my conditioner to
Nature's GAte Joboba conditioner and that doesn't happen anymore.
Also, my hairdresser cut my hair in such a way that it would not all
be weighed done by its own length. She cut some of the top layer of
my hair a little shorter...

: I have fine, naturally curly hair that I've been henna'ing with
: Mehandi henna for a few months now. I am actually due to re-henna
as
: my roots are about an inch grown out; just need to place the order.
:
: I noticed that lately, my hair seems to be just lifeless with barely
: any curl left. It's shiny but no oomph whatsover. It just hangs.
: Right after henna, my hair will be stick straight for a few days but
: it will feel nice and thick.
:
: Could it be the products I am using in it? Right now I am
alternating
: between either Back to Basics Ginger or Honey Shampoo with Ginger
: conditioner. I was using John Frieda mousse in it but I stopped
using
: it because I thought that was what was weighing my hair down. Turns
: out it wasn't. I also sometimes use a bit of Biosilk Therapy Serum
in
: my hair but it's flat and lifeless even before I put that in. What
am
: I doing wrong? Hopefully it's not a problem with the henna because
I
: really love the color and the condition my hair is in (aside from
: being flat with lack of body) I also take hair, skin and nail
: vitamins so I wouldn't think I'm lacking any nutrients.
