Help! - Flat, limp hair

I have fine, naturally curly hair that I've been henna'ing with
Mehandi henna for a few months now. I am actually due to re-henna as
my roots are about an inch grown out; just need to place the order.

I noticed that lately, my hair seems to be just lifeless with barely
any curl left. It's shiny but no oomph whatsover. It just hangs.
Right after henna, my hair will be stick straight for a few days but
it will feel nice and thick.

Could it be the products I am using in it? Right now I am alternating
between either Back to Basics Ginger or Honey Shampoo with Ginger
conditioner. I was using John Frieda mousse in it but I stopped using
it because I thought that was what was weighing my hair down. Turns
out it wasn't. I also sometimes use a bit of Biosilk Therapy Serum in
my hair but it's flat and lifeless even before I put that in. What am
I doing wrong? Hopefully it's not a problem with the henna because I
really love the color and the condition my hair is in (aside from
being flat with lack of body) I also take hair, skin and nail
vitamins so I wouldn't think I'm lacking any nutrients.
