I have tried using the coconut oil. Some of my Indian clients
recommended it. My hair is baby fine and dry.

The problem is, it takes so many shampoos to get it out that I feel
the hair gets over-dried just trying to get the coconut oil (or any
oil) out, that it seems to defeat the purpose of using oil in the
first place. Am I missing something? My hair doesn't feel good
afterwards, just dry ends and roots that are too flat.

I wonder if the oil treatment is good only for those with medium to
coarse hair.
