henna first timer: in need of advice

Hi...I've been checking out the website for a couple of weeks now
and was wondering if you guys could help me out with some
questions?? Well I'm 21 years old, and like my mom, have developed
many gray/white hairs. I've decided to try henna instead of
chemicals, but I'm not too sure on what would be good mix. I'm
really worried about coming out with a color that will clash with my
complexion, I'm about medium brown complexion with VERY dark brown
hair. I was hoping for a subtle reddish/medium brown color--any
suggestions?? Also, while hanging out on hollywood blvd. ran into a
small indian gift store and purchased a box of Afshan Mendi Henna
Powder--has anyone out there used this brand before? Thanks for your
patience!!
