Eclipta is an Asteracea (like sunflower and lettuce). : Amla is a spurge (like the poinsettia). Hi pierre, I just found an artical that says: Amla is the primary ingredient used in one of the most renowned ayurvedic herbal formulae, called: Eclipta Alba. The juice of the plant is used in a tradional Indian recipe to not only darken the hair but to improve hair growt and reduce hairloss. It's also found in the tropics. Eldery women use a herb decoction to rince hair since the plant possesses a bluish-black dey. And they say: There is no need for white hair as long as eclipta is available. Do you know more about Eclipta alba? My source was:Natural ingredients for colouring and styling from the International Journal of Cosmetic Sciene. Lia
