I'm so excited! My very first henna application EVER is sitting on
my head right now!!!! I'm impatient to see what it looks like, so to
distract myself I thought I'd post on this amazing forum. I found
that my fresh new henna (from Catherine) brought out the creative
wizard in me. Something about that earthy smell maybe???? So I
steeped two bags of Celestial Seasonings True Blueberry Tea in a cup
of water, then mixed it up with the henna in a Cool Whip tub, adding
two heaping tablespoons of allspice, about 20 drops of lavender EO,
and enough red wine to make it nice and gooey. After "cooking" it
for about a day and a half on the back of my stereo, I piled it all
on my hair and stuck on a pink plastic shower cap.

I look so lovely in that shower cap! Perfect for cleaning the house
in. Which I'm going to go do until I decide the henna is done.
I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Thanks for all of your
