Hennaed Hair Extra Oily?? Is this odd???

My hair is oily anyway, even though I'm 45 1/2 years old, my hair and
my skin are as oily as they were when I was 16!! Usually though,
after I've dyed my hair with the nasty stuff, it is so dry, I rarely
ever see it get oily, unless I'm not able to wash my hair for two or
three days which totally grosses me out!! I've read several posts on
here where some folks NEVER use shampoo on their hair but only
conditioner, (I can't EVEN imagine that!!!!, so is it really weird and
odd that my hair is so oily after henna?? If I only used conditioner,
I would be dripping all over the place!! LOL!! I've washed my hair
EVERYDAY since I hennaed a week ago, and even just overnight, it is so
oily it seperates something awful!! Don't get me wrong, I would
rather have it oily as dryed out and fried, but I was just curious if
this is an exception rather than the norm, and if I used the cheaper
shampoos out there, will it help control the oil better?? I bought
some Suave today to try, so we'll see how it goes. I haven't used ANY
conditioner since I hennaed, except the first day, and can't imagine
using it again! LOL!!
