I had exactly the opposite, my hair is extra oily! I used to use
conditioner EVERYDAY, or my hair looked awful, and could go every
other day washing my hair without any problems. Now, since I've
hennaed (I used henna I purchased from Catherine, EXCELLENT product!),
my hair has to be washed everyday, and I've not used any conditioner
since I hennaed my hair a week ago. I can't even imagine using
conditioner, and what kind of mess it would be if I did! And even
washing everyday hasn't affected my color, it's darkened a bit since
the first day, but it's rich and a lovely medium red color. And my
hair WAS chemically processed, VERY processed! I've been using
commercial dyes for over 25 years, so this is a very pleasant change,
though will take some getting used to!! I'm used to my oily hair
being less oily from processing, and now it's back to the way it was
when I was a teenager! Amazing!!

Not to be nosey, but where did you purchase your henna? I know from
reading posts on this site, THAT makes a HUGE difference. And did you
mix anything with it besides the lemon juice? Or maybe the lemon
juice was too strong for your hair? Was your hair more dry to begin
with, or more on the oily side? Just curious......
