A friend of mine went to India and came back with : henna for me (the make is Anoons)She said she would apply it for me, : as she knows exactly how to do it, but i was wondering if it will : make my hi-lites go a funny colour...Does anybody know? Please reply It will make them go BRIGHT orange-copper, most likely. I'd do a test strand on them, because you don't know what is in your friend's henna. It could be pure henna (which probably wouldn't cause any problems with the bleach or dye in your hair, though you can't ever be positive), or it could be henna and any number of scary or benign things (any or all of which might react to the bleach and dye). If you're lucky, and your friend has pure henna, and your chemical dyes are non-reactive...you'll be getting lovely brand new copper penny bright orange highlights.
