I do still consume some dairy products, Ineed the calcium, which is also VERY conducive to weight loss, and good for my arthritis as well. And I do still eat starches, BUT things like the spelt, rice, beans, etc. I do try to eat organic when I can, it's just so darn expensive, but I do when I can. I also NEVER, EVER, EVER eat "boxed", frozen or "canned" meals, and we rarely ever eat "out", I also NEVER drink sodas, use NO sugar substitutes, which kind of goes without saying, I hope!! The salt alone in those prepackaged foods can kill you, not to mention all the processed stuff in it, well, IT alone is "processed"!! And artificial preservatives, colors, etc, no thanks!! I'm only 45 and have had health problems since I was 30 years old, most of which they could never find the source for. I feel better right now (except for my foot!!) than I've felt in years and years. I still have more weight to take off, but I'm not worried about getting it off, it will come off. And NO ONE would have convinced me that just eliminating those very few foods would have had such a HUGE affect on me, but now you'd never convince me to eat any other way!!! Peace, Ginny : Let it also be noted that getting rid of sugars in all forms : (starches, sugars, dairy, anything refined really, etc) will help you : kick the candida albicans out of your body. And yeah, you guessed it : - that is what causes yeast infections. I did that diet for about 2 : months and dropped weight, felt so much energy and rid myself of yeast : issues. Yeast overgrowth causes not only yeast infections but also is : thought to cause of infections dealing with mucous like sinusitis, : etc. Sorry if I grossed out any men/or women in the forum. Oh and : this affects men too, but in different ways. :
