Henna in ash tones?

My hair is naturally a light to medium ash brown, and over the years
I've used natural rinses like coffee to add rich red/brown tones.
I'd like to go back to my natural coloring, and I saw that Colora
Henna has an ash brown.

Is this really ash brown? I always thought that anything with henna
will turn out red to some degree. If it actually ash, will it
neutralize the red in my hair?

I also see that in henna color charts, it recommends black henna
(the kind without the PPD, I think it's indigo) to make ash shades
on brown hair. Does this work? Or will my hair go black?

Thanks all for reading!
Lady Cougrrr :)
