Ok, been reading the forum. Came across saffron (how well does this
work, it's insanely expensive, and if the effort is wasted it'd be a
shame), and green tea, though that was for dark hair and mine is
lighter.

I was also wondering, do you need an acid like lemon juice or
whatever to release I don't know what from the cassia, or is water
fine? And, should the liquids be hot?
