: Your experience makes me wonder if a smaller amount of pectin would
give the desired
: result. when I used pectin in my henna, I used 25g for 100g of
henna--and that was
: pretty sticky--I think Ididn't add enough liquid (it was my first
henna attempt), which I
: presume I can still do when I thaw the leftovers. (?) At any rate
I'll try.

yeah, i used 25g pectin aswell, but only for 85g henna. The
consistency of the mix was perfect, i just found it a bit harder to
scratch the sticky leftovers off the cup and sink, and to get it all
out of my hair.

I'm a bit unsure, if i should use it again. It's much nicer for
putting it on, and i didn't need to clean up the bathroom - but when i
do the indigo afterwards, i have to clean up anyway ;)

: What you tell us makes me hesitate to try pectin with the indigo and
to add indigo the the
: whole mix--which I was hoping to do to simplify the process. I
might try a test with a very
: small amount and let you all know.
