Henna for African-American Hair

Hello,

I've read every inch of this website, and do note there was one other
individual questioning about Henna for the African-American Hair.
I've learned that the Henna for the body art gives a better color
result for the hair. My hair is virgin and black and I am attempting
to color it in the most organic way possible. With this, I just
ordered samples of henna from Mehadi. In my readings, black hair
with only henna will turn a dark checknut with red highlights.
However, I was hoping for more of a brighter color. If I add paprika
(maybe a more auburn color with red highlights) or tumeric (maybe a
lighter chestnut with orange highlights), do you believe that it will
assist in making my darker hair lighter?

Can someone please help? I'm excited about my new venture.
