Can you mix anything with indigo for a different color?

I was asking about mixing regular henna with dark coffee/tea in
an earlier post, but can you mix anything with the indigo to make
it dark brown or anything other than black?

Again, I have to point out that I'm completely new to henna and
indigo so I'm sorry if my questions sound stupid to all you henna
pros. :D
