I had the same problem Melrose Medium brown roots( about 1 1/2
inces) and very damaged light red on the rest. I went with a brown
shade first application was good but still had roots that where
darker did it again 2 days later and everything blended almost
perfectly. now the brown shade has settled into the background and
it is a wonderful Aurburn shade in the sun very red. waiting to see
how long it lasts. If roots stay covered I will be appling only red
for the next application.
