have any feel for the dye release and demise of walnut? What did
liquid did you mix with the walnut/amla/indigo paste? Water?
After reading your response I may up the walnut a bit and do 50 henna,
40 walnut, and 10 indigo. I'd rather put up with the red tones than
go too dark black, since I don't wear make-up and with my coloring I
would look washed out.
What exactly does amla do that indigo doesn't? I gather from reading
other posts that it is another black. Is is blue toned like indigo?
Maybe that will be my next experiment.
