I made several dozen shortbread cookies using my hand and foot cookie
cutters. I used tube gel icing to "henna" them with and the stuff
never dried. The advice on the tube says that if you decorate before
baking that the gel will harden which it did but not before spreading
and bubbling thus ruining my doodles. Some of them still looked
pretty but when I actually ate them the hardened gel stuck to my
teeth like taffy...was just plain yucky. Will definitely give your
recipe a shot next time! Thanks for posting it!
