: I promised K a scalp massage (exciting new book on Indian head
massage
: arrived this morning), and she's pretty much capitulated and agreed
to
: let me henna her after the exams finish (three and a half weeks).
The
: good news is that she already has a pair of old glasses she can wear
: while being hennaed.
:
: OK, here's her hair situation. She naturally has dark brown hair,
and
: she's been playing around with chemical dyes for years. In January
: she had bits of it bleached and then dyed scarlet. I've not seen
her
: in a couple of months, but she says the scarlet is starting to fade,
: showing the bleached hair underneath. It's not all of her hair,
just
: bits on top mostly. Her hair is now chin-length. We'll do
hairbrush
: and strand tests, of course, and won't be using that nasty compound
: henna, but I thought it was worth checking. What do people reckon
is
: likely to happen to those bits, and any ideas on how long we should
: leave the henna on for?
:
: And please, someone, ideas about using agar-agar?!

Copper Highlights! Rockin'! I bleached my hair for the very
effect. Lots of strand tests, but you should be okay. Leave the
henna on atleast 2 hours, more is better.
