I was plowing through the adacemic article searches to put together
the piece on cassia obovata .... and found one that just stunned me:

The following product, labeled as "Essence of Neutral Henna" clearly
does NOT have much anything to do with henna, neutral or otherwise
.... and in fact has carcinogens!

Alberto VO5 Conditioner (Essence of Neutral Henna)--Alberto-Culver
USA, Inc.

• Labelled toxic ingredients: Formaldehyde, carcinogenic; Polysorbate
80 (can be contaminated with the carcinogen 1,4-dioxane); FD & C Red
#4, carcinogenic.
