Henna from Yemen or India?

I am seeking advice from people who have used henna from India and
Yemen. I'm going to henna my hair for the first time. It has not been
treated in any way and is medium brown with red highlights. I'm
trying to acheive a bright, rich red; the brighter the better. From
what I've read, henna grown in African countries colors hair a coppery
red while henna from India leaves hair a browner red. Has anyone
gotten redder results using Yemen henna instead of Indian henna? I
plan to order from either Castle Arts or Mehandi. Where is the henna
from Mehandi grown? I can't find that info on the site. I also plan
to color my mother's graying hair with henna, but she wants a warm
brown. I'm thinking of using Yemen henna with paprika and lemon juice
for my hair and Indian henna with indigo, saffron and coffee for my
mother. If anyone has any insight on the differences between the
hennas, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
