: I used Henna on my hair in May and June of this year 2004. My
: questions
: are:
:
: 1.) If I want to get my hair straightened by my hair stylist, how
: long
: do I have to wait to get it done? Would I be able to get it done
in
: March of 2005?

I would not do that. I would use a straightening iron before I did
that, but if you must, test a strand first.

: 2.) Will I be able to go swimming in a swimming pool anytime soon
: without worring about my hair turning a different color? (my hair
: color now
: is brown with red highlights).

As far as I know you can swim with henna in your hair. Just wash it
as soon as possible after swimming.

: 3.) Is there any way a hair dresser can strip the Henna from your
: hair
: without your hair being ruined?

I have heard that mineral oil will strip henna from your hair but I
don't understand how since the henna has formed a bond with the hair
shaft. Maybe someone else can explain.

Meg
