Beets? Burgundy highlights?

I am surprised that of all the teas and juices people are using and
experimenting with on this forum that no one has mentioned beet juice
for burgundy henna? I used it many many years ago when I was younger
and wilder and got a superb shade of raspberry-to-burgundy. I am
thinking of try it again to see if I can get my highlights a more
garnet shade for the Spring. If anyone knows any reason why I
shouldn't tell me now! (LOL or forever hold your peace!--should that
be 'beets'?)
