Hair and sexuality (moderately irrelevant)Posted by Elettaria on July 28, 2004 at 21:15:45: But I just found this mentioned online.http://www.judaism.com/display.asp?type=quicksearch&etn=CJGCB (It's a fairly short review of a book about married ultra-orthodox Jewish women who cover their hair). I'm Jewish myself, Reform which means I'd never do this but I have heard of it. The book sounds rather intriguing, actually. Any thoughts on the whole hair/sexuality thing? Especially considering the henna connection: I mean, we all know what red tends to symbolise. (Wanton hussies of the world, unite!)
