I got about a thousand dollars from the salon, which barely covers all the treatments/ supplements etc. I have been using. I wonder if the henna will be too taxing. That's why I came to this forum...I have no experience with this..so I am hoping to learn from all of you. I wasn't planning on doing it for another 5 weeks or so, after I get it cut. If they cut out all the damage I would have a crew cut, but I am hoping they can cut out a significant amount and between that and using only 100 percent natural products it will maybe be strong enough to stand the henna? My hair is about 3 inches past my shoulders now and has a few long layers....I am going to get it chopped to my shoulders with lots of short layers and unfortunately bangs...it is the only way I can think to get rid of a lot of the damage,,without shaving my head. Any thoughts? Thank you so much!-Mel
